THE AMERICAN BOARD OF GENERAL DENTISTRY

INSTRUCTIONS FOR APPLICATION OR NOMINATION TO THE ABGD BOARD OF DIRECTORS


The following documents are required to be considered by the ABGD Nominating Committee for possible nomination to the ABGD Board of Directors:

 

1.      Completed “Application for Nomination to the ABGD Board of Directors

2.      Letter of Intent, expressing why you are interested in serving on the ABGD Board of Directors

3.      Curriculum Vitae

4.      Three letters of recommendation

 

The ABGD Nominating Committee will make recommendations to the ABGD Board of Directors.  The Board of Directors will follow the guidelines set forth in the ABGD Constitution and Bylaws and recommend two candidates to the Academy of General Dentistry Board of Trustees for each pending vacancy on the ABGD Board of Directors.  The AGD Board of Trustees will forward names to the AGD House of Delegates for election during the Annual Business Meeting of the AGD.
