THE AMERICAN BOARD OF GENERAL DENTISTRY WRITTEN APPLICATION
INSTRUCTIONS
This application cannot be processed unless the candidate has been deemed “Educationally Qualified.”
Candidates must complete and meet all requirements specified in the “Rules and Procedures” booklet to be eligible to take the Written Examination.
THE WRITTEN EXAMINATION APPLICATION AND $350 APPLICATION FEE MUST BE SENT 60 DAYS PRIOR TO THE TEST DATE FOR ALL CANDIDATES WITHIN THE CONTINENTAL U.S. AND 90 DAYS PRIOR TO THE TEST DATE FOR ALL CANDIDATES OUTSIDE THE UNITED STATES. INCOMPLETE APPLICATIONS WILL BE RETURNED.
Please note that all candidates testing at a DANTES testing site must submit a letter from the Test Control Officer (TCO) verifying that they will administer and secure the examination for the American Board of General Dentistry. The TCO should also include a shipping address for the testing materials. CANDIDATES WILL NOT BE PERMITTED TO TEST WITHOUT THE TEST CONTROL OFFICER’S LETTER ON FILE.
We suggest that you make a copy of your application for your files.
